Keto Chow Daily Minerals
The Missing Element™
- No sweeteners
- No added flavors
- No sugars
- Just minerals
Keto Chow Daily Minerals were developed with the help of Dr. Ken Berry, with the specific aim to give people a simple way to replenish all of the important minerals that have been depleted from modern soils and are lacking in modern diets. Daily Minerals' main source of minerals is purified water from Utah’s Great Salt Lake where dissolved trace minerals can be found in their ionic form. Because they are already dissolved, these minerals are ready for quick absorption.
Daily Minerals do not have any sugars, sweeteners, added flavors (it is salty and bitter due to the minerals, we don’t mask that with flavors), or anything but pure minerals. Many people will take a straight shot (fill the cap to the bottom of the threads to measure 1 tablespoon) and chase it with water; others mix it into coffee, tea, flavored drinks, whatever suits their whim! Nothing is added to the minerals, you can use it however you like and heat or cold will not have any effect.
Because Daily Minerals are JUST minerals, they are suitable for a range of people with different dietary restrictions and are particularly useful for people needing higher levels of electrolytes or trace minerals.

How does Keto Chow Daily Minerals compare to other daily electrolyte supplements?
Each serving of Daily Minerals has 4422mg of electrolytes along with trace minerals. Another leading brand of electrolytes has 1220mg of electrolytes per serving composed almost entirely of potassium citrate with very little of the essential trace minerals lacking in our modern diets. Both have a similar cost per serving but Daily Minerals gives you 362% the electrolytes and was specially designed for potency by a board certified Medical Doctor. Daily minerals also doesn't have any sweetener, color, added flavors, or anything else but pure minerals so YOU can tailor it to YOUR needs.

How do Daily Minerals Integrate with the other Keto Chow electrolytes and the shakes?
Since launching the Daily Minerals, a question we frequently get is how this new products works with the other Keto Chow products, so let's answer these!
The main purpose of the Daily Minerals is to reduce the number of minerals supplements that you need daily in order to make up for the depleted minerals in our modern diet. The Keto Chow shakes contain 1/3 of ALL your daily nutrients, so if a person was consuming 3 of the Keto Chow shakes a day, there would be no need to have these Daily Minerals. If a person is having 1 or 2 shakes, they will likely benefit from the Daily Minerals if their remaining food is low in the relevant minerals.
The main purpose of the Daily Minerals is to reduce the number of minerals supplements that you need daily in order to make up for the depleted minerals in our modern diet. It provides a solid daily baseline of important minerals and electrolytes with the idea that most of the remainder would come from the food you eat. Depending on that food, additional supplementation may be necessary.
Another way to say that would be: we're recommending taking the Daily Minerals every day and then taking additional supplements as you feel the need. If you need more magnesium, check out the Magnesium Drops. If you need just sodium, you can add some salt to your food, or check out the Fasting Drops. If you need magnesium, potassium, and sodium; check out the Electrolyte Drops.
Because the Daily Minerals are JUST pure minerals, with no calories at all, they work quite well for fasting and will not "break" a fast. The electrolytes in Daily Minerals are generally not going to be sufficient for a person's complete electrolyte requirements during an extended fast, particularly for sodium. It's a very good start, though, and coupling the Daily Minerals with our Fasting Drops is a particularly great way to do a fast.
This is a difficult one to answer clearly due to the potassium levels in Daily Minerals. Many people with kidney problems are required to severely limit their intake of potassium, which is quite high in Daily Minerals. This need to limit potassium is the specific reason we introduced the Fasting Drops at the request of Megan Ramos with IDM. Our recommendation would be to have a conversation with your doctor if you have kidney issues.
This is too salty for me. I wanted the minerals, but it’s just too hard on my stomach.
I will not be purchasing this product again.
I put a tablespoon in my stainless steel cup of icewater every morning.
I can not bear the taste.
The Keto Chow Daily Minerals are JUST minerals - with no added flavors, sweeteners, or other additives to mask the taste of the minerals. There are a few ways that people are using them when they are sensitive to the taste:
Use them in cooking.
Mix with some citrus and a little liquid sweetener.
Spread it out over the day diluted in a LOT of water.
Add to a flavored beverage: coffee, diet soda, etc.
Mix half a dose with some water, down it as quickly as possible like a shot, then drink something with some flavor.
--My own personal preference is to put a tablespoon serving in a bottle of water along with a packet of true lemon, then I sip on that for a few hours. It's frankly amazing what adding the citrus does to making it so much easier to drink.
I love being able to add the minerals to food and it doesn’t change the potency of the product.
No more foot cramps at night! Thank you Keto Chow Minerals! I take it daily in water. Problem fixed!
For me it is just way to salty even mixing it in a large cup of coffee, tea or water. I can't do more than half the amount at a time. Unfortunately it's not taste I want to drink that much each day. I would much prefer to take my salt a different way like with food or a quick teaspoon undesolved with a glass of water.
This is something I try to take every day. I use it in my coffee. I don't use the full strength so I can spread it out. If I use it in my water, I use True Lemon or True Lime powder to taste to cut the bitterness. This product has also helped eliminate my having as many leg cramps. I have had less issues since I have been using this product.
Way too bitter, It was hard to get the bitterness hidden even with fresh lemon :/ We were really excited to have all the natural minerals but it was too hard to digest. We love the fasting drops but will pass on using the daily minerals
Bottle is well designed, shipping went well, everything sealed and leak-proof. My three recommendations are:
1. Wait until you're fully in ketosis to take this. You won't crave the salt if you're not in keto and it's a terrible start.
2. Consider your calories/daily values before taking the full dose. 1 Tablespoon may be reasonable for 2000 calorie diet, so if you're taking less adjust the amount down. I've found 1/2 Tablespoon per 24 oz (~700mL) water is easily drinkable.
3. If you are going to do the undiluted shot, take it after a FULL meal and plan distractions, Pepto Bismol, or have a stomach of steel. Switch to diluting if you realize it's a terrible idea.
I started Day 1 of Keto like a checklist - eat this much fat/protein carbs, use Electrolyte Drops to avoid keto flu and muscle cramps, and take 1 tablespoon Daily Minerals. I was definitely not in keto and not craving salty foods, but Daily Minerals was part of the checklist so off I went.
Day 1 I treated "quite salty and bitter" like a challenge and I down the tablespoon expecting a gross medicine type of reaction. Words cannot describe the level of salty and bitter. Imagine licking a salt block on a dare. Then crank that up to chewing a salt block to fine powder in your mouth with some grapefruit peels thrown in for variety. It is awful. My stomach physically clenched and roiled and hurt. I have never been so aware of the physical location of my stomach and how it is a muscle that can and will contract, repeatedly. It was like a charley horse in my stomach. I took Pepto Bismol and melatonin and went to bed. I probably should not have waited 3 hours after dinner (so an empty stomach) to down this right before sleeping.
Day 2 I diluted 1 tablespoon into 24 oz water. I still wasn't in keto yet, still didn't really need the minerals. I ended up with a great big bottle of salty, gross water. I would take a sip, my mind would say "you are mistaken, this is seawater and you will die if you keep drinking" and then I would keep sipping. Still not in keto, still didn't need the minerals.
Day 3 I took a break.
Day 4 I ate a meal, downed a shot of 1 Tablespoon again, and did as much house work and running around as I could to distract me from the stomach pain. It worked, mostly.
Day 5 I took a break.
Day 6 I knew I was in keto and should probably figure out a way to take this without hating life or getting stomach muscle spasms. I figured, if "normal" was 1 Tablespoon per day, I should in fact not be taking "normal". "Normal" on a % daily value label is 2000 calories. As a small female, I am having 1000 calories a day. It is ridiculous to be taking double the amount of minerals. My urine was literally neon the days I did manage it.
Since then, I have been taking 1/2 Tablespoon diluted in the same 24 oz of water. It's mildly salty but not terrible, and definitely not seawater levels. No stomach spasms, and since I'm actually in keto now I do crave the salty foods after drinking and flushing so much through my system. The Daily Minerals addresses that issue well.
